HEATHER
Heather is an active member of the United States Navy and member of The Bobbysox Brigade. Since joining the Navy in 1995, Heather has visited Southern Europe, the Mediterranean, and Bahrain while stationed aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. It was while she was home-ported in Norfolk, Virginia that she first fell in love with Lindy Hop, and that passion has traveled with her to her current residence in Southern California. She joined The Bobbysox Brigade in January 2006 and performs with the troupe whenever she is docked. She has been featured in several vintage fashion shows, including a 30’s to 60’s tribute show to Los Angeles-based mother-daughter designers Peggy Hunt and Jeanette Alexander. Heather also appeared swing dancing in Phat Cat Swinger's first music video.
